I’ll never pass up an excuse to bring up John Goodman. Roseanne is one of those ‘90s shows that holds up better than most but still isn’t, like, worth watching. Even if it does have Goodman and that kid from National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation and that terrible contemporary show about nerds.

Two classic ‘90s shows coalesced into one fine image. Yeah yeah, South Park reached its peak in the '00s, but it was still a phenomenon in the '90s.

In the ‘90s the most coveted spots on television were after Seinfeld and eventually after Friends (which gained popularity by being on after Seinfeld). The Single Guy was one of those shows that was given that boost but still couldn’t quite go over. I don’t wonder why.
