A sassy ramble today. Sports (Keith Law is a rube), music (Katy Perry is terrible), culture (why a Ted 2?), and more (a quote from Jesus).
Whatever, man
ESPN analyst Keith Law recently released his list of the best minor league systems in baseball. However, you can only view the list if you’re a platinum ESPN.com member or some shit, so fuck him.
The Twins came it at #2. That’s good. That’s all you need to know.
She isn't even pretty without makeup
In a recent Weekday Ramble I defended disco as music meant to be upbeat and fun and make people dance. Taken for what it is, it’s great.
I heard Katy Perry’s absolutely terrible “Last Friday Night” for the first time on the radio today. If you want proof for how far we’ve fallen since disco, check it out. But if I were you I wouldn’t bother wasting your time. Just take my word for it.
Okay, okay, I'm being too mean. If I had a couple 13, 14 drinks in me or was trying to woo some hot dancing dame maybe the song would seem perfect. I guess.
Ugh
One time there was a movie called Ted. It was about a foul mouthed Teddy Bear. Isn’t that hilarious? Now they’re making another one. Aren’t you excited?
I hope not.
The Last Word
Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal. But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal. For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
Matthew 6:19-21 (King James Version)
